The funds were supplied by the Cullompton Rugby Football Supporters Club which had been founded in 1969 when a Clubhouse was acquired at 52/54 Fore Street with the intention or 'encouraging and supporting the playing of Rugby Football in Cullompton'.

It has three Senior sides on a Saturday and a huge Junior section that encompasses sides from Under 7's right up through the various age groups. Wednesday nights are the main nights for the Junior section and it is common place for well over 100 youngsters to be in attendance at the organised coaching session.
