Details:The Action Group was established by people with disabilities who experience common problems. They now operate an adapted vehicle which is capable of transporting one disabled person in a wheelchair and up to 3 companions. Self help group of disabled people meets on 1st Fri of every month 2.30-4.30pm Community House, Church Street, Cullompton. Discussions, tea, raffle etc. Successfully lobbies local council on disability matters, access etc. Annual subscription £2.00, transport to meetings free to members. Group gas tail lift vehicle which can be hired privately with driver for about 28p per mile.

Details:The Community Health Centre is the base for district nurses, health visitors, midwives and school nurses in Cullompton and the Culm Valley area. It also hold various specialist clinics by appointment. For example:- Speech therapy, Post and ante natal groups, Audiology clinic, for adults and children, Psychiatric services, Orthopist, Physiotherapy, Chiropody, and leg ulcer clinic. Walk in baby clinic on Tuesday 10:00-12:00 and Thursday 11:30-13:30. The centre is open Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm. Wheelchair access and wheelchair accessible toilet.

Accredited by the local authority. Day care for elderly or disabled people living in Cullompton and surrounding districts. Available 7 days a week between 9.00am-7.00pm (flexible). Services include meals, hairdressing, chiropody, activities etc. Bathing can be arranged with hoist if needed. People may visit just for an assisted bath if required. Wheelchair access including access to toilet.
