CharityPlus- Raising Money for Cullompton - and The British Heart Foundation

Charity does begin at home, however sometimes its surprising how giving a little will benefit others.

We are now introducing a voluntary donations for people who visit our web site.

Are initial plan is to donate 50% of the money to Cullompton Council, and the other 50% to The British Heart Foundation.

Why is this?

Naturally being a Cullompton web site, its logical to try and benefit the town. Now once there is sufficient funds (We wait until the account reaches £50 to begin with, and go from there), The money will be passed onto the council, on the condition that all money is clearly defined where spent, and it must be used on the town and not in someone's pocket!!

All information on spending will be posted online, so you can see exactly where it has gone. It might be worth having a voting pole so we can raise ideas! Maybe some decent christmas decorations for once, or towards a listed building/church. Wouldn't that be fantastic, and it would all be due to our combined help.

Hang on what's this about The British Heart Foundation?

Well for those who know myself (Peter Mayhew) I have been a long term supporter of the British Heart Foundation through completing 50 mile cycle rides.

Its simply a charity of my choice, and believe its a good course. You can read about my own personal support in the past here.

Now, the donation will be 100% given to charity, I can assure you of this. All money will be clearly posted online.

If you just donated 10p, each of you that is, there is no reason why a couple hundred if not thousand can be raised, and that would be so fantastic.

If you wish to have your name mentioned as donating, let me know via email and i set up a page to mention your name.
